Information We Handle
The Brewfather app stores the information you add to your account, such as recipes, batches, ingredients, inventory, equipment profiles, notes, fermentation readings, integrations, account settings and subscription status. If you contact support, we handle the details you send so we can answer and troubleshoot.
The Brewfather website may process basic technical information such as server logs, browser details and page performance metrics. If analytics is enabled, we use it to understand aggregate site usage and conversion paths. Support chat is handled through Intercom, and newsletter signups are processed by Mailchimp.
How We Use Information
- Provide account sync, recipe design, batch tracking and app features.
- Operate integrations you connect, such as fermentation devices or cloud services.
- Respond to support requests and investigate reliability or security issues.
- Measure website performance and improve the landing page experience.
- Process subscriptions, trials, refunds and required service notices.
Sharing and Processors
We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, support chat, payment processing, app-store distribution and support operations. Connected integrations receive data only when you choose to connect them or share data with them. Payment details are processed by app stores or payment providers. Optional AI features may send the prompts, attachments and selected app context needed to provide the feature to AI providers described in the official policy.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails from the email footer. You can also contact us to ask about access, correction, export or deletion of your account data. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, accounting, dispute handling or legal reasons.
Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Brewfather data. We retain account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve issues and meet legal obligations.
